DISCONNECTED TRAIN RIDES

As I entered the train, saw no heads turn🚆,

Passengers have been busy since the morn🌅.

Everyone is in their own virtual zone🗔,

Peeping into their latest mobile phone📱.

No one to talk to, hear no snores💤,

As they picked up their mobiles before doing the chores🖁.

No longer they hear the engine blow horn📯,

Wearing headphones and listening to "The Music Of Ornn"🎧.

No laughs, no gags😂,

Only mindless scrolling and hashtags#.

Wide windows are now useless🪟,

I urge you to spend time on screen less📵.

The silence in the coach feels awkward🤐,

Watching things get out of hand is absolutely absurd.

Vendors working hard, shouting for their sales🛒,

But who cares, everyone buys online these days🛍.

Train rides never again seem to be fun🚄,

Just two reels more and then we are done...

On the path to being loyal friends for our long lives,

Like the stingless golden bees who forever live together in the same hives.

Will save each other when no one else can,

Unlike the fake friends who left and away they ran.

Our pictures of dazzling smiling white teeth,

A friendship whose destiny is to succeed.

Our epic friendship story,

A beautiful breath taking glory.

Our chronicle of conversion from coal to diamonds,

A music – drenched tale of tears and laughter,

And heart – swelling triumph.

You all are my best friends for eternity,

Each one of you has completely unique personality.

GLIMMERING BLISS

It makes me happy when I look at the the endless sea🌊,

My face lights up full of glimmer and glee🤩.

I love the sound of to and fro waves🔊,

As they are the crystal clear calm noises I crave🔉.

Walking on the soft stress relieving sand🏖,

Is one of the few things that make me glad😊.
